Lil Wayne Is Music- and a standup role model as well

Am I wrong? Weezy F. Baby is so cool. He's making masses of free mixtapes, getting new tattoos on his body like its the new bling, and spittin in as many mainstream radio songs as T Pain. Showdown of radioplay song features- Wayne vs Mr. 'Tardbender. If you couldn't read through my subtle sarcasm, I think Lil' Wayne is an idiot.
From a music viewpoint, I admit I like some of his music- its catchy as hell and for some reason his simple dumb metaphors "blow me away". It's kind of like watching Family Guy and thinking WTF.. these random sidestories aren't funny, they're just nonsense...yet deep inside you are chuckling, irregardless of how dumb it is. Lil Wayne is like that- Go Dj, smoke cush and ball like Swoosh, lol I love these little lines but c'mon it's far from genius or the best in rap today. It really shows who is listening to music nowadays- either it's dumb rich kids getting blown away by the simple metaphors, or its true "thug" ghetto people being blown away by the simple metaphors. Either way, Wayne is gettin money and blowin it on all sorts of fanstasmic drugs. I mean its not even like he's burnin green anymore. His voice, flow, and speech, and his face is pure gibberish- raspy rambling of random garbage.

Weezy's been blowing up a lot the last few months/year? and why I'm starting to ramble on this dude now is all the recent sh!t he's been up to. Look at this new tatt, I mean Weezy, you already look like a freak, why would get a red tattoo that looks like garbage like that? It looks a like a elementary school kid took out a marker and drew that on his forehead while sleeping. You either on some intense drugs and see that sh!t as a cool unicorn or you just gone lost your mind. lol
Not only this, but Weezy's an inspirational speaker for HS kids? WTF is wrong with the world today? I mean okay, he grew up poor and is making millions now, but what kind of school would show him off proudly as an alumni and talk to HS seniors and Juniors as inspiration- what would he say? Slang drugs, buy guns, rap, do intense drugs, lose your minds, and make money?
Shame on the school board for letting him come back to school a hero..

"Coming back to speak to them is super-important," said Wayne of his visit. "It was my school. I went to that school. I attended that school. It shows them somebody from there made it. It makes them feel like you can do it. That right there was so important. I see it in their eyes, like, 'We can do something.' Not just doing what I'm doing, but, 'We can be successful.' " *hiphopdx.com

It's disappointing that this is the world's view of success nowadays. On that not, the Carter III is coming out April. Most likely going to sell masses of records, further fueling Weezy's drug addiction and image as a drug fiend G. Go America!

Burnin'Buddies

As you may know I do enjoi kicking it with people, lighting up some ol' Sour Diesel or whatever is available and sparking up some conversations with different people- in my college career I've met a lot of REAL interesting people I would otherwise have never given a minute of my time. A straight up Indian Hippie- with headbanger hair and loving to rock out to Tool and Metallica, a Cambodian kid that smokes his stresses away, some Asian Gangster fellas, some inkheads who want full bodysuits with tattoos, a Jewish Hippie chick that decided to shave her head for the environment, a couple Japanese international students that loved the stuff and America, and so on. I really like the fact that something looked so down on has led to my discovery and relationships with such a variety of people. I of all people had the biggest, most negative opinion of kids that messed with marijuana- those lazy no good, kids smoking it and wasting their life away- and though true it does wastes the day away, it does provide good times and sparks up some real good conversations no sober human being would debate.

Now for the main point of the thread, everyone has a hero- someone they want to meet and chat it up with-as far as interested in having a session with, there's the usual common answers- Oh dawg!! I gotta blaze a phatty with Snoop Dogg.. or Dave Chappelle-dude's hilarious..or Harold and Kumar, itd be the bombb...Yeah im sure those dudes would be sick to have a chat/session with, but I'm sure the rest of America wants that and probably a longg waitlist for those guys. My next, and propably unseen list?- Bob Saget. Surprised? Don't be. He looks like a G.

I mean I understand why this seems like a surprise- I for one, never watched any shows he was on in the 80's or 90's like Full House. He kind of sparked up in Entourage, and I know that's a fictional image Saget plays as a dude that chills at the Hollywood whorehouse taking hits from a bong all day- but what if there was some truth to it.. His character just seems so chill- always high and saying random shit all day. Of course, his self ego and bragging would get annoying after a bit I imagine. This is not when I realized Bob Saget would be a cool guy to blaze with. It was after someone sent me Bob Saget's page did I realize what a G he truly was. The dude is fckin rapper- its so hilarious how G'd up his website is with the music and the atypical cigar pose makes Bob Saget- one of the most "wholesome" dudes into this new badass that so doesnt fit his image and acting history. Thus, I nominate Bob Saget as a cool dude I'd like to have a kick it session with. What we'd talk about I have no fckin idea!

Wttup Readers!
This is my first official Blog post period. Honestly, I hate these online forms of self expression- show off how many friends you have on facebook, myspace, xanga, whatever. I have mostly steered clear of these methods of communication but recently came to realize the inevitable- Sh!ts the future. Being a communications major and my career plans require me to show off the network people i know and how colorful and thoughtful I am. So here it begins,- I begin my internship with Cashmere Agency Tuesday with the signing of my Confidentiality agreement and whatnot. So, I guess this is the official launch of my "career". Let's do it. I'm mostly going to post my thoughts and rambles about random stuff I encounter- youtube videos, topics on forums, and random arguements I have with my friends at parties or during blaze sessions. Hopefully you find my thoughts interesting enough to read- if not, come back solely for the wierd pictures and videos I will try to post as much as I can. Enjoi
