From a music viewpoint, I admit I like some of his music- its catchy as hell and for some reason his simple dumb metaphors "blow me away". It's kind of like watching Family Guy and thinking WTF.. these random sidestories aren't funny, they're just nonsense...yet deep inside you are chuckling, irregardless of how dumb it is. Lil Wayne is like that- Go Dj, smoke cush and ball like Swoosh, lol I love these little lines but c'mon it's far from genius or the best in rap today. It really shows who is listening to music nowadays- either it's dumb rich kids getting blown away by the simple metaphors, or its true "thug" ghetto people being blown away by the simple metaphors. Either way, Wayne is gettin money and blowin it on all sorts of fanstasmic drugs. I mean its not even like he's burnin green anymore. His voice, flow, and speech, and his face is pure gibberish- raspy rambling of random garbage.
Weezy's been blowing up a lot the last few months/year? and why I'm starting to ramble on this dude now is all the recent sh!t he's been up to. Look at this new tatt, I mean Weezy, you already look like a freak, why would get a red tattoo that looks like garbage like that? It looks a like a elementary school kid took out a marker and drew that on his forehead while sleeping. You either on some intense drugs and see that sh!t as a cool unicorn or you just gone lost your mind. lol
Not only this, but Weezy's an inspirational speaker for HS kids? WTF is wrong with the world today? I mean okay, he grew up poor and is making millions now, but what kind of school would show him off proudly as an alumni and talk to HS seniors and Juniors as inspiration- what would he say? Slang drugs, buy guns, rap, do intense drugs, lose your minds, and make money?
Shame on the school board for letting him come back to school a hero..
"Coming back to speak to them is super-important," said Wayne of his visit. "It was my school. I went to that school. I attended that school. It shows them somebody from there made it. It makes them feel like you can do it. That right there was so important. I see it in their eyes, like, 'We can do something.' Not just doing what I'm doing, but, 'We can be successful.'
